I am working in partnership with schools in West Sussex and have been since 2013. This includes Handcross Park School with their after school club on a Wednesday giving tuition to those who have wanted extra lessons.
In 2014 I was asked to teach for Handcross Primary school on five Intensive weeks during the Easter and Summer terms. We provided lessons to small groups from beginners right up to those who were working towards their 25meters which needs to be achieved by year 6 Key Stage 2 as part of the National Curriculum set by the Government.
More recently I have been asked to organise and run the swimming lessons at Wisborough Green School which is open during the Summer months.
I have assessed all the children with one of my other teachers Anthony Gray who also works there on a Friday. After putting them into the correct groups we have provided lessons in all weathers with a high percentage of children achieving the required standard of 25 meters by Key Stage 2!
I work very closely with two of my teachers who teach at the Lancing Diving Centre on a Saturday morning.
If you would like me to work with your School then please contact me today.
I am looking to roll out the STA Junior Medic programme within schools (no pool required) it is hoped that Anthony and myself both fully qualified lifeguards will start this programme after school at the Towers Convent School in the near future.
Please see my Junior Lifeguard Academy page for more details to offer this new and exciting lifesaving skill to your children at school.
